Electrical connection, brake/rectifier (optional)

The brakes are released using DC voltage.
The brake is either directly controlled using a DC voltage without a rectifier or an AC voltage
via a rectifier. Half-wave rectifiers or rectifier bridges are used as rectifiers.
If a DC control is selected, then the brake connecting cable is connected in the terminal
box using terminal strips. The DC power supply on the customer side is connected to these
terminal strips. Refer to circuit diagram A01BD000 for more detailed information.
For AC control using a rectifier, the connecting cable of the brake is directly connected to the
rectifier. Connect the AC power supply on the customer side to the rectifier. Carefully follow
the circuit diagrams provided.
