Connecting audio devices

Requirement
• You have observed the information under "Connecting external devices (Page 62)" and
under "Technical specifications of the connections on the device (Page 155)"
Procedure
Note
Use the original connection technology of the audio devices to be connected without
adapters and extensions.
1. Connect the I/O devices to the respective interfaces. Information on the position of the
interfaces is available in "Device ports (Page 20)".
2. Secure the cables (Page 72) with a strain relief.

Connecting several monitors (multi-monitoring)

4.4.3.1

Connecting monitors for using the NVIDIA T400 graphics card

Power supply units
The NVIDIA T400 graphics card can be operated with the following power supply units:
• Power supply unit 550 W
• Power supply unit 850 W
• Power supply unit 700 W (2 modules, each 700 W, redundant)
Connection sockets on the rear of the device
You will find four connection sockets on the rear of the device for connecting monitors at the
integrated graphics interfaces.
• 3 x DP (DisplayPort; labeling on the device: DPP1, DPP2, DPP3)
• DVI-D (labeling on the device: X70)
You will find 3 additional connection sockets on the rear of the device for connecting
monitors to the optional NVIDIA T400 graphics card.
• 3 x mDP (Mini DisplayPort)
At these connection sockets, you can use adapters to connect monitors to other graphics
ports.
