3.3.4 Disassembly and Reassembly of the Masterfil Filter Assembly
Disassembly
1. Using Figure 12 as a guide,
grasp the pickup tube and
handles securing the filter
screen and lift upward out of
the filter pan.
2. Remove the outer clips (see
Figure 13).
3. Lift the pickup tube off of the
fitting (see Figure 14).
4. Unscrew the fitting from the
screen (see Figure 15)
5. Remove the filter envelope
from the sana grid screen
(see Figure 16).
Cleaning
1. Clean the filter pan,
sana grid, pick up
tube,
pickup
tube
base and clips using
a
good
quality
degreaser and hot
water from a spray
nozzle.
2. At each scheduled
boil-out,
disassemble
filter assembly and
place in the frypot
being
boiled
out.
Follow the boil-out procedure in Section 4.4.1 of this manual.
3. Allow all filter assembly components to air dry or thoroughly dry with clean towels before
reassembling.
