Starter Solenoid Removal
Electrical: Service and Repairs
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key. Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.
3. Using a 1/2 inch socket, remove the 2 (5/16 inch) jam nuts securing the
battery positive and the battery positive starter cable to the starter solenoid.

4. Using a 3/8 inch socket, remove the 2 (#10) nuts to disconnect the 2 wire
harness connectors from the starter solenoid.

5. Using a T30 torx driver, remove the 2 (1/4 inch) bolts securing the starter
solenoid to the chassis. Remove the starter solenoid.
