8. Using a 9/16 inch wrench, remove the 4 (3/8 inch) shoulder bolts (1 per deck
corner) securing the deck lift links to the deck lift assembly.

9. Place the deck lift back into the transport position. Slide the deck out from
under the machine.
1. Slide the deck back into position under the machine. Lower the deck lift so
the lift chains reach the deck.
2. Using a 9/16 inch wrench, Install the 4 (3/8 inch) shoulder bolts (1 per deck
corner) to secure the deck lift links to the deck lift assembly.
3. Using a 9/16 inch socket, install the 2 (3/8 inch) nuts and carriage bolts to
secure the deck strut to the frame.
4. Using a 9/16 inch wrench, install and tighten the (3/8 inch) lift assist spring
shoulder bolt.
