9.4.9 BLFC cleaning
1. Using a 34 mm wrench, remove the flow control housing (1) from the valve.
2. Using pliers, remove the retaining ring (6), the flow control retainer (5), the washer holder (3)
and the washer (4).
3. Remove the washer (4) from washer holder (3).
4. Clean or change the washer (4).
5. Lubricate the seal (2) with approved silicone lubricant only.
6. Follow the procedure three first steps in reverse order to rebuild.
Mandatory
The washers (4) have to be installed with their chamfered side upfront the water
stream flow.
Flow indication must be visible after the washer (4) is placed on the holder (3).
