Load the primary upgrade

Load the upgrade on the primary System Manager Server.
Approximate time estimate = 10 minutes
In the following procedure <load_name> represents the name of the load.
The format of <load_name> is: MCP_9.1.x.x_YYYY-MM-DD-HHMM.

Extract the CD from the DVD-ROM drive.
Change the directory:
cd /var/mcp/ora_cds
Determine if the patches directory exists:
ls
Remove the patches directory if it exists:
rm –rf patches
Unpack the patch archive:
tar -xvf <patch>.tar
Change the directory:
cd patches
Install the Oracle patch:
./install_patches.sh
When all patches are applied the script responds:
/install_patches.sh successfully finished at <CURRENT
TIME>.
Log off as root:
exit
Log off as oracle:
exit
