Restore the database on the primary Database Server.
Approximate time estimate = 30 minutes

Restore the primary System Manager

Restore and start the System Manager on the primary System Manager Server.
Approximate time estimate = 15 minutes

Action
Log on to the primary Database Server as oracle.
Make sure that the backup is available:
ls /var/mcp/backup/orabackup
If the backup does is not available it must be copied to the
/var/mcp/backup/orabackup directory.
Change the directory:
cd /var/mcp/run/MCP_9.1/<db_name>_0/bin/util
Restore the database:
./dbRestore.sh <db_user> <db_password>
<backup_name> DISK
Log off as oracle:
exit
Action
Log on to the System Manager Server as nortel.
Change the directory:
Nortel Multimedia Communication Server 5100
