V.35 Line Interface Cable for GR2000-B
This interface cable is for the GR2000-B used as DCE. For connecting the GR2000-B
to the V.35 line interface on the terminal, use HN-F9531-B76H (5 m). The boundary
with network is the receptacle on DTE-attached cable. Figure 3-8 below is the
diagram of the V.35 line interface cable.

As shown in the Figure 3.2-6, the pins of the V.35 connector to be connected to a
modem are covered with skirts so that they are not damaged and broken. Check if
the V.35 connector of the cable fits the form of a connector of the modem.
Make sure that the line speed is 768 kbit/s or less and the maximum cable length
from the GR2000-B to the DTE (terminal) is 16 m or less.
Consult Hitachi if you purchase a cable other the 5 m cable specified above, since
line speed differs depending on the length of a cable. Figure 3-9 below shows the
limitations on the length of cables.
