Mounting the GR2000-B in a Rack

The GR2000-B is shipped with two types of brackets that allow you to install it in
open or cabinet (enclosed) rack spaces. This section provides rack mounting
procedure for both the 1U-sized GR2000-1B, GR2000-2B, and GR2000-2B+, and the
larger GR2000-2B+.
4.4.1

Mounting the GR2000-1B, GR2000-2B, and GR2000-2B+

The following steps show you how to perform both types of installation.
Note: Two types of mounting brackets are supplied with each GR2000-B to

accommodate different rack designs. Use the bracket type complying with the
requirements specified in Section 2.7, "Installation Space" on page 2-7.
Note: Accessory rack-mount brackets (S,L) and guide brackets (L), are secured with M5
*
screws. Use only the screws provided with the router, since they are the proper
size and length.
Note: Do not install rubber feet to the back of the GR2000-B chassis if it is to be
*
installed into a rack.

Installing the Router in a Open Rack

Step 1.
As shown in Figure 4-2, attach the rack-mount brackets (s) to the
GR2000-B.
