Power Supply Equipment

Use power supply equipment complying with the standards of each country.
2.4

Electrical Noise

Under severe conditions, electrical noise generated by other devices can interfere
with the operation of the GR2000-B. Observe the following precautions in planning
power supply facilities.
1. Do not connect the GR2000-B to a circuit that repeatedly cycles ON and OFF,
such as a circuit used for an air conditioner or heater.
2. Regarding the earth (D type) for the maintenance of the GR2000-B, drop it to the
earth plate directly. Use the one especially provided for the GR2000-B as
possible.
3. Keep in mind that you should put a noise - prevention circuit into the device
generating the electric noise.
4. The cables to be connected to the GR2000-B models are classified into the two
types, power cables and signal cables. Since these two types of cables have
different electrical properties, avoid bundling them together. When you install
signal cables, do not lay them along with power cables.
2.5

Ground Current

A noise filter is installed in the GR2000-B to prevent trouble caused by electric noise.
Because of this filter, a small amount of AC current will flow to ground. If you are
required to install a ground fault device in the circuit supplying power to the
GR2000-B, be aware that a maximum current of 3.5 mA per a unit will flow to
ground.
