Attaching and Detaching the GBIC

This section shows you how to attach and detach a Gigabit Interface Converter
(GBIC) to a network interface boards NEB1G-1B, NEBH1G-4C or NEBH1G-4E.
are three types of GBIC modules that may be used: A, B, or C.

For a Type A Module

(1) How to Attach the GBIC
Step 1. Pull the lever off and insert the GBIC into a designated position referring to
the figure below.
