Common Components

The following memory components are common among all models of the GR2000-B
router.
1.7.1

Memory Cards (MC)

Figure 1-30 shows a compact flash memory card (MC) of 64 MB or 256 MB.

Note: Use the correct type of memory card for the version of software you use:

ROUTE-OS6B, ROUTE-OS65B, ROUTE-OS6BSEC: 64 MB
ROUTE-OS7B: 256 MB
Note: Use the compact flash memory card packed along with a chassis. We cannot

guarantee correct operation if you use the one other than this.

Main Memory (DIMM)

There are two types of dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs) for the GR2000-B as
shown in Figure 1-31:
For GR2000-1B and GR2000-2B: use one 128 MB or 256 MB DIMM.
For GR2000-2B+: use two 256 MB DIMMs.
