G Board

The power source of this unit is a power board consisting of an AC/DC block (an AC input filter circuit, a power-factor
improvement regulator, and two types of insulating converters) and a DC/DC block (a DC input circuit, an input
switching circuit, and DC-DC converters).
• Power-factor improvement regulator for conformity to the harmonic regulation of power (PFC power)
• SUB5V regulator for supplying power to the G board (SUB power)
• Main regulator for supplying power required for each board of the unit (main power)
• DC_24 V input circuit
• FET switch switching circuit
• DC input OVP/UVP circuit
• +12 V_BA, +5 V synchronous rectification step-down converter
• Panel power circuit

AC/DC Block

Basic circuit configuration

Boosts the voltage to 395 V.
AC power is supplied from an AC outlet through the filter circuit as shown in this figure. An AC voltage is rectified to
a DC voltage by the rectification circuit (D6300), and the DC voltage is supplied to the SUB power circuit. Then the
SUB power circuit starts operating and supplies a power voltage to the PFC power circuit and the main power circuit.
The PFC power circuit boosts the PFC voltage to 395 V. When the PFC voltage reaches about 320 V, the main power
circuit starts operating and outputs a voltage of OUT_24V to the secondary circuit.
Power on sequence
1.
Turn on AC power.
2.
The rectification diode rectifies an AC voltage to a DC voltage and outputs it as a PFC voltage.
3.
The SUB power circuit starts operating.
4.
The VCC voltage is supplied to the PFC power circuit and the main power circuit.
5.
The PFC power circuit starts operating.
6.
The PFC power circuit boosts the PFC voltage to 395 V.
7.
The main power circuit starts operating.
8.
The main power circuit outputs OUT_24V to the secondary circuit.
