Click [Browse] and set the kernel data to be written.
FPGA data: FPGA.rbf

Start writing.
Note
When a message "all process succeeded" appears, data writing has been completed.

Turn off the monitor.
9.
Disconnect the RC-232C cable.
10. Set switch 1 of the DIP switch (S3100) on the BC board to OFF.

Recovery Procedure When Upgrading the Controller's Kernel Failed

When upgrading the kernel failed and power cannot be turned on, write kernel data manually. This may restore normal
operation.
Equipment required
• Personal computer (PC)
Equipped with USB port, LAN terminal
• RS-232C cable conversion tool (JIG HARNESS DSUB 9P: 1-971-624-11)
• RS-232C, D-Sub 9pin straight cable (female to female)
• USB to RS-232C conversion cable (Unnecessary if the PC has an RS-232C connector.)
• Application tool: BVM_HAB_TOOLver1.1
Note
If the application tool does not start, the ".NET Framework" may be necessary.
Download ".NET Framework version 2.0" from the Microsoft Download Center. For details of ".NET Framework",
refer to "Readme.txt" in the downloaded folder.
Preparation
1.
Detach the top cover of the controller (Refer to service manual of the controller.)
2.
Set switch 1 of the DIP switch (S1000) on the HC board to ON.
3.
Connect the PC to CN1100 on the HC board with an RS-232C conversion tool and a serial cable.
