Check of USB Flash Drive Data
After copying the version upgrade data from PC to USB flash drive, check if the data is correctly copied by using the
checksum.
Equipment required
• Personal computer (PC)
OS: Windows 7 or Windows8, Windows8.1
• USB flash drive (Upgrade data is stored.)
Preparation
1.
Login the PC.
2.
Connect the USB flash drive to the PC.
Procedure
1.
Double-click the following file in the USB flash drive and confirm that copied data is stored normally in the USB
flash drive.
• Software upgrade of the monitor
- Location: MSSONY/MONITOR/BVM_E1/UPDATES/SOFT/BVM_Exxx (BVM_Exxx is the model
name.)
- File name: checksum_soft.bat
• Software upgrade of the controller
- Location: MSSONY/MONITOR/BKM/UPDATES/SOFT/BKM_17R
- File name: checksum_soft.bat
• Kernel upgrade of the monitor
- Location: MSSONY/MONITOR/BVM_E1/UPDATES/KERNEL/BVM_Exxx (BVM_Exxx is the
model name.)
- File name: checksum_kernel.bat
• Kernel upgrade of the controller
- Location: MSSONY/MONITOR/BKM/UPDATES/KERNEL/BKM_17R
- File name: checksum_kernel.bat
• FPGA upgrade of the monitor
- Location: MSSONY/MONITOR/BVM_E1/UPDATES/FPGA/ BVM_Exxx (BVM_Exxx is the model
name.)
- File name: checksum_kernel.bat
If data is stored normally
