14. Remove the front declutch cover plate. Discard the gasket and
clean both surfaces. Figure 5.14.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the declutch housing to
disassemble the case.

15. Remove and discard the lock wire from the front declutch shift
shaft bolts. Then remove the declutch shift fork bolts using a hex
socket. Figure 5.15.

16. Remove the yoke nut, washer, and yoke from the front output
carrier. Figure 5.16.

17. Remove the front output carrier bolts and then remove the front
output carrier with seal from the housing. Remove the front output
shaft assembly. Discard the gasket and clean both surfaces.
