Fuel Formation/Fuel Injection
Test the wiring between test box and connector
of sender for open circuit according to the cur-
rent flow diagram:
6-pin connector at
wiring loom, contact
- Rectify any open circuit or short circuit in the
wiring.
If no fault is found in the wiring:
- Replace engine control unit (J248) ⇒ page
23-20.

- Remove bottom part of dash panel
⇒ Body Fitting Work; Repair Group 68.
- Unplug 6-pin connector for accelerator pedal
position sender (G79).
K - Test resistance of accelerator pedal position
sender:

not depressed
not depressed
not depressed
depressed
depressed
not depressed
If the specification is not achieved:
- Replace accelerator pedal position sender
(G79).
