Procedure
- Initiate final control diagnosis and actuate the
start of injection valve ⇒ page 01-18.
K Readout in display:
→
Actuation of the valve is indicated by a clearly
audible change in the combustion noise (die-
sel combustion noise).
- Initiate the basic setting ⇒ page 01-21.
K Readout in display, e.g.:
→
- Set start of injection, if necessary
⇒ page 23-13.
K - Remove the fuse 34 -arrow-.
- Observe the readout in display zone 2.
The readout should increase to 255

Note:
As a result of the interruption to the voltage, the
start of injection valve is closed. The pump in-
ternal chamber pressure can no longer be low-
ered and acts to its full extent on the piston of
the injection control. The injection control is
moved toward the „advanced" stop.
