4.3.2 Switching the power ON (Winding System)

Step 1 :
Select the option "Rollfeed" in the printer menu when using the UW/W 100. (See Detection menu
below and in your printer's User's Guide).

Step 2 :
Power ON (I) (indicated on image below). The power lamp on the operation panel will light.

4.3.3 Switching the power OFF (Printer)

Procedure :
Step 1 :
Verify that :

Step 2 :
Press the [POWER] key (indicated by the black arrow on the image below) of the operation panel
to switch the printer OFF.
Step 3 :
Wait while the following message is displayed for 3 seconds on the operation panel :

If the [POWER] key on the operation panel is pressed by mistake during the power off cycle, press the
[POWER] key again.
Step 4 :
Wait until the printer performs its power OFF operation displaying the following :
•
If there are problems during the power OFF operation, the unit will display a message on the operation
panel, and the operation may stop. If the operation stops, refer to Troubleshooting and take the
appropriate actions.

4.3.4 Switching the power OFF (Winding System)

Switch the power switch to OFF (O). The power lamp on the operation panel will turn off.

Verify the product is not winding.
