Step 8 :
Tape the middle of the fabric with tension on the empty core.
•
Make sure the rear tensioning system is lifted against the unit when fixing the fabric on the
empty core.
•
If there is not enough fabric on the front to tape it on the empty core, then, use the foot switch
of the UW/W 100 to release some fabric on the rear.
Step 9 :
Tape both sides without applying tension.
Step 10 : Lower the pressure rollers.
Step 11 : Set the UW/W 100 units to AUTOMATIC and close the front cover.

With a small intervention it is possible to reverse your winding direction.
Mount a cable between the control box and the front motorized unit cable.
•
You can use the foot switch of the UW/W 100 to roll off fabric during loading of the roll fabric.
4.5.3 Setting Fabric type
Step 1 :
Switch the printer on and load the fabric.

Step 2 :
Press one of the following keys on the operation panel according to the table below, and select
roll.

Description
Sets the roll fabric type.
• Roll fabric : Set when loading roll fabric. (Select roll)
Switches the pressurizing lever up and down.
Set fabric type for printing. (Ex. When changing fabric type)
For setup values of printing operation, eight settings of "user
1-8" can be set.
