5.4 PERIODICAL SERVICES FOR AUTHORISED MUTOH
TECHNICIAN
This section describes the periodical services required for this machine. The periodical services ensure
stable printout quality of the machine. In the periodical services, some service parts may be checked,
cleaned, or replaced.
•
There are two parts of periodical service, namely the parts that can be replaced by the end-user
and the parts that need to be done by authorized Mutoh technicians.
(1) Periodical inspections
Cycle Servive by authorised Mutoh technician
1 APPLY GREASE ON HEAD UP-DOWN CAMMS
2 APPLY GREASE ON Y-MOTOR BELT
3 APPLY GREASE ON ROLLER PATH CARRAIGE
4 APPLY GREASE ON CAPPING STATION CAMM + GEARS
5 Replace all caps
6 Replace the tubes connecting the pumps to waste bottle
7 CHECK Cylinder Supporting bearings
8 CHANGE PUMPS
CHECK and RELACE when necessary SPITTING BOX RIGHT + TUBE + L
9 CONNECTION
10 CHANGE DAMPERS
11 CHANGE MAINTENANCE STATION
(2) Parts needed

All cleaning in "Ink areas" must be done with Mutoh water based textile cleaning liquid.
•
Above maintenance cycle is based on use:
8 hours / day, 5 days / week, 44 weeks / year.
If machine is used more, maintenance periods will come earlier.
