13�2�3 Glass cleaning
With a cold stove, clean the glass with a cloth and glass
cleaner.
Note: there are stove glass cleaning products available on
the market.
13�2�4 Combustion chamber cleaning
To clean the combustion chamber, proceed as described
below:
STEP
ACTION
Vacuum the residue in the combustion
chamber with an ash extractor, ensuring that

the ashes are completely extinguished (Fig.
13.4).
To remove the ash remains from the top of the
combustion chamber, the flame trap has to be

removed.
To remove the flame trap, lift it up from its
seat and rotate it (Fig. 13.5).

13�2�5 Cleaning the pellet tank
To clean the pellet tank, proceed as follows:

13�2�6 Extraction duct cleaning
Periodically check that the extraction duct is free from
obstructions (dust, animal hair ...) and remove them if
necessary.
13�3 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Maintenance operations must be carried out with the
stove cold and with the power supply disconnected�
Extraordinary maintenance activities must be carried out
by staff from the Authorised Assistance Centre�
Do not wait for components to be deteriorated by use
before proceeding with their replacement� Replace a worn
component before it is completely broken to prevent any

with the Authorised Assistance Centre.
13�3�1 Deep combustion chamber cleaning
This operation must be carried out by a Jotul Assistance
Centre�
Schedule this type of cleaning with the Jotul Assistance
Centre�

To clean the combustion chamber, proceed as described
below.
After cleaning the combustion chamber, it is advisable to
proceed with the cleaning of the inspection hatches as
indicated in the paragraph "Smoke duct cleaning".
