HDSL Deployment Guidelines

The ADTRAN HDSL system is designed to provide DS1
based services over loops which comply with the following
CSA deployment guidelines:
All loops are nonloaded only.
For loops with 26 AWG cable, the maximum loop length
including bridged tap lengths is 9 kFt.
For loops with 24 AWG cable, the maximum loop length
including bridged tap lengths is 12 kFt.
Any single bridged tap is limited to 2 kFt.
Total bridges tap length is limited to 2.5 kFt.
The total length of multi-gauge cable containing 26 AWG
cable must not exceed the following:
