INTRODUCTION

The Total Access 1248 provides 48 ADSL2+ plus POTS ports downstream to the subscriber,
local and remote management capabilities, and front panel LEDs that indicate status. Figure
2-1 illustrates an operational scenario for the Total Access 1248.
