Diagnostic Procedure
1.
CHECK GROUND CONNECTIONS
• Turn ignition switch off.
• Loosen and retighten ground connection A-201 (See Ground Inspection in Section 12 Brakes).
• Inspect the ground connection A-201 mounting position (See Vehicle Wiring Harness Layout - Engine Room
Harness in Section 16 Wiring).
Is the ground connection OK?
Yes >>
Go to the next step.
No >>
Repair or replace the ground connection.
2.
CHECK ABS MODULE DTC
• With the scan tool select: View ABS Data Stream.
• With an assistant driving the vehicle, check the following data stream list items while driving the vehicle over 40
km/h (25 mph).
− Left Front Wheel Speed
− Right Front Wheel Speed
− Left Rear Wheel Speed
− Right Rear Wheel Speed
• With the scan tool, read active DTCs in the ABS module.
Is DTC C1205 present and the Right Front Wheel Speed signal abnormal?
Yes >>
Go to the next step.
No >>
The condition that caused this DTC to set is currently not present (See Diagnostic Help and Intermit-
tent DTC Troubleshooting in Section 12 Brakes for more information).
3.
CHECK AND ADJUST TIRE PRESSURE
• Turn ignition switch off.
• Check and adjust the tire pressure in the Right Front tire.
• Check and adjust all other tire pressures.
• Inspect for mismatched tires on the vehicle.
Is the Right Front tire improperly inflated or mismatched tires on the vehicle?
Yes >>
Repair Right Front tire as necessary.
No >>
Go to the next step.
