Electronics housing clearance
Mount the transmitter so the terminal side is accessible. Clearance of 0.75-in. (19 mm) is
required for cover removal. Use a conduit plug in the unused conduit opening. Three
inches of clearance is required for cover removal if a meter is installed.
Environmental seal for housing
Ensure full contact with terminal block screw and washer. When using a direct wiring
method, wrap wire clockwise to ensure it is in place when tightening the terminal block
screw.
Note
The use of a pin or ferrule wire terminal is not recommended as the connection may be
more susceptible to loosening over time or under vibration.
