Error Messages and Codes
Definition
The magenta ink load thermistor circuit is open.
1. Run the Ink Melt 3 sensor test.
2. Inspect the ink loader wiring.
3. Replace the ink loader.
The magenta ink load thermistor circuit is shorted.
1. Run the Ink Melt 3 heater test.
2. Inspect the ink loader wiring.
3. Replace the ink loader.
The magenta ink load thermistor is bad.
1. Run the Ink Melt 3 temperature sensor test.
2. Inspect the ink loader wiring.
3. Replace the ink loader.
The yellow ink load heater became too hot.
1. Verify the ambient temperature of the room is not too
hot.
2. If the temperature of the environment is too hot,
advise the customer of the environmental
specifications and cool the room.
3. Run the temperature test if the room temperature is
within the correct operating range.
4. If the test fails, replace the ink loader.
The yellow ink load heater took too long to reach its
setpoint.
1. Verify the ambient temperature of the room is not too
low.
2. If the temperature of the environment is too cold,
advise the customer of the environmental
specifications and heat the room.
3. Run the Ink Melt 1 Heater test if the room temperature
is within the correct operating range.
4. Inspect the ink loader wiring.
5. If the test fails, replace the ink loader.
The yellow ink load thermistor circuit is open.
1. Run the Ink Melt 1 sensor test.
2. Inspect the ink loader wiring.
3. Replace the ink loader.
The yellow ink load thermistor circuit is shorted.
1. Run the Ink Melt 1 heater test.
2. Inspect the ink loader wiring.
3. Replace the ink loader and/or wiring.
