Troubleshooting
Fault
Control display remains blank.
Display screen is not clear, flickers or areas
appear faint.
Pedal 'knocking' or uneven operation when
pedalling.
Heart beat signal not
displayed on screen.
If the remedial action described in the table above does not cure the fault, contact your service representative.
Probable cause
Not plugged in.
Not switched on.
Blown fuse on cycle or mains plug.
Control panel failed.
Poor contrast
adjustment
Loose pedal crank.
Monitor strip fitted
incorrectly.
Failed battery.

Cure
Plug into mains socket.
Switch machine on.
Replace fuse.
Adjust contrast.(Refer to Section 4.4 on Page 18)
Remove plastic cap from centre of pedal crank
and tighten bolt using socket end of puller tool
(as supplied).
Adjust position of strip and/or moisten
electrodes.
Replace monitor strip.
