Installation
4.1
The Pursuit / Perform Cycle Package
Before commencing installation, check that all parts and accessories have been supplied.The complete Pursuit / Perform Cycle package should include
the following:
(1)
Pursuit / Perform Cycle.
(2)
Separate IEC mains cable with moulded 13 A plug fitted and External power supply box with cable.
(3)
4 & 6mm Allen key for removing or securing bolts.
(4)
13 & 15mm Spanner for removing or securing bolts.
(5)
User Guide for the Pursuit / Perform Cycle (this document).
Contact your supplier immediately if any of these components are missing.
4.2
Location
Select a suitable location for the Pursuit / Perform Cycle before moving it.The site you choose should meet the following requirements:
•
A flat, level and clean surface.
•
Close to a suitable 13 A mains socket.
•
Well away from sources of water (or other liquids) or in an area that is subject to condensation.
•
Away from direct sunlight (this can make it difficult to view the LCD screen).
NOTE: The Pursuit / Perform Cycle is not suitable for outdoor use.
Once the location has been chosen, the Pursuit / Perform Cycle can be moved there. If the chosen surface is carpet then the Cycle can be pushed to the
desired position. However if the surface is more resistant then the Cycle will have to be lifted and lowered into place, (this is a two person procedure).
This equipment is heavy! We do not recommended attempting to lift it without assistance, at least
2 people should lift the cycle when neccesary.
NEVER attempt to lift the Cycle by the control panel or the plastic side panels.
