The PCB contains components that are sensitive to static charges. Do not touch any of the
components on the PCB or the PCB itself when removing or refitting the connectors.
7.2

Corrective Maintenance

Corrective maintenance is limited to replacing the control panel.To do this, proceed as follows:

Read through all the following instructions before commencing work.
(2)
Ensure that the Pursuit / Perform Cycle is switched off and unplugged.
(3)
Using a screwdriver remove the console screws that secure the top and bottom halves together. (As shown in Sequence 9 on page 7)

Carefully lift the top halve into a vertical position (take care not to strain the cables, as shown Sequence 8 on page 7) and unplug the connectors from
the printed circuit board (PCB). Remove the top halve.

Using the allen key supplied with the Cycle, remove the four console bolts that secure the bottom halve of the control panel to the frame post.
(As shown in Sequence 7 on page 7)

While holding the control panel with one hand, tap lightly on the underside to ease the panel off the frame post. Store both halves of the control panel
in a safe place.

Attach new console (bottom halve) onto frame and secure with the console bolts. (As shown in Sequence 7 on page 7)

Attach the connectors to the new control panel (top halve) as shown in Sequence 8 on page 7.
(9)
Carefully lower the top console into place and secure with the console screws. (As shown in Sequence 9 on page 7)
Switch on the power and check that the new panel operates correctly, (it may be necessary to adjust the contrast, Please refer to Section 4.4 on Page 18).
