Exercise Modes

6.1

General Information

This section describes in detail the function and operational aspects of
each of the four (five if Fitness Level mode is enabled) operating
modes. It is assumed that you have already carried out the following
basic tasks prior to getting onto the Pursuit / Perform Cycle.
Switched on the power at the mains.
Switched on the Pursuit / Perform Cycle.
Checked/adjusted the height of the seat.
Checked/adjusted the pedal straps.
Fitted the heart rate monitor chest strap or be holding the Hand pulse
sensors and checked that the Console is receiving the signal (see Figure
G for a general explanation of a Data Summary screen).
When less than five seconds of the exercise period remains, the control
panel will warn you of this by emitting a regularly repeating 'beep'.
Once the time period expires or if you press STOP the Finished screen
for the exercise will be shown on the programme control LCD screen
(see Figure H) and the Pursuit / Perform Cycle will go into 'freewheel' state.

Statistics shows your results, these can include Energy, Heart, Position,
Power, Speed,Workout and Summary, depending on which programme
mode is selected.
(B)
Repeat Exercise allows you to do the same exercise again.
(C)
Select Program allows you to choose from all the programmes available.
