Information is therefore only displayed once an exercise programme
has been selected and started.
Examples of information displayed on this screen are as follows;
(1) Time
In all modes except Pace mode, the LEDs will illuminate progressively
from left to right as the elapsed time of the exercise increases.
i.e.When all LEDs are illuminated from left to right, the exercise time
you have set has been completed (see Note on page 23).
(2) Effort
The setting you enter for effort when using Manual mode or Profile
mode determines how many LEDs are illuminated vertically. For example,
if you enter an effort level of 8 for Manual mode, four LEDs will be
illuminated in a vertical line at the start of the exercise.
(3) Profile
Selecting a profile causes a graphical image of that profile to be
displayed. As in (2) above, the height of the profile depends on the
effort level selected. The flashing column of LEDs shows your current
position in the exercise.
(4) Pace
When you select Pace mode, only the two outer lines of LEDs are used
(i.e. the distance around the edge of the screen represents the full
circuit distance you have selected). The outer line of LEDs
represents the progress of your bike, while the inner represents the
computer-controlled pace bike.
NOTE: In each of the above cases the time taken for each successive
LED to illuminate or flash is calibrated automatically according to the
total exercise time you have set. i.e. If you set the exercise time to 60
minutes in Manual Mode, it will take 60 minutes for all LEDs to
illuminate horizontally.
