Installation Procedure
Once the Pursuit / Perform Cycle has been sited you must ensure that
it is stable. If necessary, adjust the height of the feet to compensate for
any unevenness in the floor. Turn the feet to the left or right to
increase or decrease the height as appropriate.(see Figure B) When
satisfied, securely fasten the locknut up against the Feet Strut.
To protect the paintwork from sweat, wipe down the metal frame with
a wax/silicone-based polish.
The Pursuit / Perform Cycle is delivered with a separate IEC mains
cable and External power box. Plug the cable out of the External
power box into the power input socket at the side of the cycle (see
Figure C), then plug the IEC mains cable into the External power box
and into a suitable mains socket and then switch on the power.
CAUTION
Ensure that the mains cable is routed in such a way that
it does not create a potential hazard to users of the
Cycle or other persons in the vicinity.
Switch on the Pursuit / Perform Cycle via the on/off (I / 0) switch
mounted beside the DC Input socket.The control panel display should
illuminate and display a regularly repeating start up message.This
indicates that the Pursuit / Perform Cycle is now ready for use. At this
point, you can customise several operational aspects of the cycle,
including the Language Option and Welcome message. (see Sections
4.4 & 4.5)
NOTE: If the Pursuit / Perform Cycle is not going to be used straight
away, then switch off and remove the 13 A plug from the socket.
