2. SYSTEM INITIALIZATION
26. Choose FIXED or Auto as appropriate.
FIXED: Messages are delivered to address set at step 28.
Auto: Text of messages is searched for the keyword entered in "Auto
Delivery Keyword." The string between the keyword and carriage return is
delivered to shipboard mail address. For example, a message carries the
string /Local Addr/ smith@ship.furuno.com. If the auto delivery keyword is
"Local Addr" the mail is delivered to smith@ship.furuno.com.
27. Press the [Enter] key.
28. Do one of the following depending on the selection made at step 26.
"FIXED" selected at step 26:
a) Press the [ ] key to choose Mail Address and press the [Enter] key.
b) Press the [Enter] key to open the mail address entry window.
c) Enter recipient's mail address.
d) Press the [Enter] key.
"Auto" selected at step 26:
a) Press the [ ] key to choose Auto Delivery Keyword.
b) Press the [Enter] key to open the auto delivery keyword entry window.
c) Enter auto delivery keyword. When Address Mode is set to Auto, entry of an
auto delivery keyword is necessary to deliver a received message to
specified address. If no keyword is entered, messages are delivered to the
mail address set with "FIXED."
d) Press the [Enter] key to close the window.
29. Press the [Esc] key to open the update window.
30. Yes is selected; press the [Enter] key to update settings.
31. Press the [Esc] key twice to open the update window.
32. Yes is selected; press the [Enter] key to update settings.
33. Press the [Esc] key to return to the standby display.
Mail software setting
If "Local" has been chosen, enter the following information in terminal designated for mail.
For "Server," consult with shipboard LAN manager.
POP3 server: Enter IP address at step 5.
SMTP server: Enter IP address at step 5.
Account name: Felcom15
Leave other items as is.
