Front Panel of Controller Module

Remove the front panel of the controller module to access the following parts:
SCSI or FC-AL array controllers—page 6-5
SIMMs—page 6-7
Controller card cage—page 6-10
Battery unit—page 7-6
Controller fan canister—page 8-3

Removing the Front Panel

Note – The front panel has been changed slightly for routing the fiber optic cables.
1. Grasp the front lower left and right edges of the front panel and pull out slightly
until you feel it snap out of the mounting holes (
2. Slide the front panel down and out from under the lip on the top of the controller
module chassis.
