Extendable Axle Lubrication
System
Genie specifications require that
this procedure be performed every
100 hours of operation. Perform
this procedure more often if dusty
conditions exist.
Frequent lubrication to the front and rear extendable
axles helps to ensure the smooth operation of the
axles over the lifetime of the product. Two grease
fittings are added at each extending axle. One to
direct grease to the top sliding wear pad and one to
direct grease to the bottom sliding wear pad.

1 Locate the grease fittings on the extendable
axles covers.
2 Thoroughly pump grease into each grease
fitting. When grease is pumped into each fitting,
a hose directs this lubrication to the top or
bottom wear pad.
3 Cycle the extending axles in and out.

extending axles be cycled in and
out at least once a week.
A retrofit kit is available that
