Floppy Drive A: and B: Move the cursor to these fields via
are Disabled, 360 KB 5¼ inch, 1.2 MB 5¼ inch, 720 KB 3½ inch, 1.44 MB 3½ inch or
2.88 MB 3½ inch.
The Optimal setting for floppy drive A: is 1.44 MB 3½. The Failsafe setting for floppy
drive A: is 1.44 MB 3½.
The Optimal setting for floppy drive B: is Disabled. The Failsafe setting for floppy drive B:
is Disabled.
Diskette Write Protect Set this option to write protect the floppy diskette. The settings are Enabled, or
Disabled. The Optimal and Failsafe settings are Disabled.
Floppy Drive Seek Set this option to Enabled for the motherboard to seek the floppy drive controller. The
settings are Enabled, or Disabled. The Optimal and Failsafe settings are Disabled.
Floppy Drive Swap If you have two floppy drives in a system, the BIOS assumes the drives are A: and B:,
based on the cable position of the drive. Set this option to Enabled to have the drives
logically swapped (A: becomes B:, and B: becomes A:.) The settings are Enabled, or
Disabled. The Optimal and Failsafe settings are Disabled.
