Step 10 Set Options on the QLogic Menu,
Scan Disk Utility Screen You can use the Scan Disk Utility screen to perform a low-level format or verify
the disk media for a disk device. The following information for the selected SCSI bus
displays:
ID
Vendor
Product
Revision
On the Fast! UTIL Options screen, select the third option, Scan Disk Utility, and press
<Enter>. A window displays for you to select the SCSI bus. After you select the SCSI bus
and press <Enter>, the following screen displays. The default ID for the QLogic SCSI host
adapter is 7.
Note: If there is no SCSI device connected to J16, when you select SCSI Bus 1, a message
window displays to indicate that there are no SCSI devices present for that bus.
