Step 10 Set Options on the QLogic Menu,
Configuration Settings Screen, cont'd... The settings for the SCSI bus items are:

Settings
The settings are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
11, 12, 13, 14, or 15. The default setting is 7.
Set this to Enabled to reset the SCSI bus at
system power up. Set this to Disabled to
prevent unwanted SCSI bus resets when you
have two or more host adapter boards on the
SCSI bus. The settings are Enabled or
Disabled. The default is Enabled.
After the SCSI bus is reset, the firmware does
not initiate any SCSI activity for the number of
seconds that you specify in this setting. The
settings are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,
12, 13, 14, or 15 seconds. The default setting
is 5.
Select a setting for termination of the board.
Termination is required for the last SCSI device
on each end of the SCSI bus. The settings are
Auto, High only, Enabled or Disabled.
With Auto termination, the SCSI termination
requirements are determined by the board and
set automatically.
The Disabled setting disables termination. Use
this setting to override the termination
requirements sensed by the board.
The High only setting enable high termination,
overriding termination requirements sensed by
the board. Use this for port one on the board
when there is a wide device connected to one
connector and a narrow device connected to
the other connector.
Use this for port two on the board if the port
two connector is not at one end of the SCSI
bus and there are narrow devices at one end of
the bus and wide devices at the other end.
