Toner Used Amount Adjustment

When printing on paper with a rough surface, the problem of the toner coming off of can be suppressed
from dark lines created by overlapping of the 4 color toners.

Select [05 ADJUSTMENT MODE] and change the setting value for [8070]/[8071] or [8089]/[8090] to a
smaller one, so that the limit value of the maximum toner adhering amount will become small.
• Adjust the value for [05] code corresponding to the print option to be applied (Paper type and
Halftone).
• Printing on Mac is performed in PostScript.

• Set the value in increments of approximately 30, while checking the printouts until the optimum
value is obtained.
