Print the 480cx User Guide

Dialing a Speed-Dial Number

Press the Speed button, then enter the two digit number assigned to the
number you wish to call.

Press the Start/Enter button to dial the number.
The number is automatically dialed. If a document is loaded into the
Automatic Document Feeder, the WorkCentre 480cx will begin
transmission of the document after the remote machine answers.

Group Dialing (for Multi-Address Transmission)

Multiple One-Touch and speed dial numbers can be registered as a Group.
By using the Group number, you can send a document to multiple parties in
a single operation. Up to ten numbers may be stored as a Group. Your
machine will dial the remote numbers in a stored sequence. If the number is
busy, your machine will dial the next stored number and after dialing all of
the stored numbers, will automatically redial any number previously busy.
Before you can use this feature, you must coordinate and store Group
numbers.

Dialing

Press the Menu button, then press the Group Dial button on the One-
Touch keypad.
The LCD display prompts you to select a One-Touch Number.
