7. Turn the screws right or left until the ground
pressure is between 12 and 15 kg (26.5-33 lb).
Make sure that the springs have equal tension on
the right and left sides.
9.7.5 To do a check of the parallelism of the
cutting deck
1. Do a check of the air pressure in the tires. Refer to
Tire pressure on page 9 .
2. Park the product on a level surface.
3. Lower the cutting deck to mow position.
4. Set the cutting height lever to the middle position.
5. Measure the distance between the ground and the
front and rear edges of the cutting deck. Make sure
that the rear edge is 4–6 mm (1/5 in.) higher than the
front edge.

9.7.6 To adjust the parallelism of the cutting
deck
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Loosen the nuts on the track rod.
3. Turn the track rod to extend it or make it shorter.
Extend the track rod to lift the rear edge of the cover.
Make the track rod shorter to lower the rear edge of
the cover.
4. Tighten the nuts on the track rod when the
adjustment is done.
5. Do a check of the parallelism. Refer to
check of the parallelism of the cutting deck on page
65 .
6. Attach the front cover.
9.7.7 To adjust the cutting height
1. Remove the side cover.
2. Put the cutting height lever in position 1.
