8. Remove the protective cover (A) above the steering
joint.
CAUTION: Do a check that the protective
cover is not damaged. Replace a damaged
cover with a new one.
9. Remove the locknut (C) on the bottom of the
articulated steering.
10. Turn the steering wheel fully for better access.
11. Remove the screw in the articulated steering (B).
12. Put the steering in neutral position again.
13. Disassemble the shaft with the locking plate (A) to
remove the steering cylinder from the rear bracket.
14. Turn the steering wheel to the right until the cylinder
is fully compressed.
15. Turn the rear axle to move the screw (C) of the link
stay (A) away from the engine belt pulley.

16. Remove the locknut (D), screw (C), washer (E) and
sleeve (B) that attach the rear link stay.
17. Lift the rear edge of the rear axle with a jack
assembly to decrease the load on the link stay.
18. Lift the link stay from the steering bushing (F) with a
screwdriver.
19. Put a jack assembly below the rear axle and lower it
slightly. Do not move the axle more than the
positions shown in the illustration.
WARNING: Risk of crush injuries. The rear
axle weighs more than 90 kg.
20. Lift the rear axle from the frame pin.
21. Carefully move the rear axle rearward. Pull out the
hydraulic hoses at the same time.
Note: Make notes of how the hydraulic hoses are
put through the product. This makes it easier to put
them correctly when you assemble the rear axle.
22. Remove the snap ring (B) of the joint bearing.
23. Remove the bearing (A).
24. Push grease through the grease nipple to clean the
lubrication channel.
25. Clean the bearing space with grease.
26. Clean the grease groove with a thin steel wire.
