10. Hold the front edge of the cutting deck with 2 hands
and pull it out.
9.7.2 To put the cutting deck in servicing
position
To remove the cutting deck on
1. See steps 1–8 in
page 63 .
2. Hold the front edge of the cutting deck with two
hands and pull forward until it stops.
3. Lift the cutting deck to vertical position until a click
sound is heard. The cutting deck is locked
automatically in the vertical position.
9.7.3 To put the cutting deck in mow position
1. Hold the front edge of the cutting deck with your left
hand.
2. Loosen the lock with your right hand.

3. Lower the cutting deck and push it in until it stops.
4. Put the drive belt around the drive wheel for the
cutting deck.
5. Attach the height adjustment cable.
6. Put the spring handle in the spring holder.
7. Attach the front cover.
9.7.4 To examine and adjust the ground
pressure from the cutting deck
A correct ground pressure makes sure that the cutting
deck moves along the surface but does not press too
hard against it.
1. Do a check of the air pressure in the tires. Refer to
Tire pressure on page 9 .
2. Park the product on a level surface.
3. Lower the cutting deck to mow position.
4. Put a bathroom scale below the front edge of the
cutting deck.
5. Put a wooden block between the frame and the
bathroom scale. The wooden block makes sure that
no weight is applied on the support wheels.
6. Correct ground pressure is between 12 and 15 kg
(26.5-33 lb). To adjust the ground pressure, turn the
adjustment screws found behind the front wheels on
the right and left sides.
