6. Remove the thermostat.
7. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9.5.11 To replace the hydraulic oil filter
1. Remove the control side cover. Refer to
the covers on page 23 .
2. Clean the area around the oil filter. Refer to
the hydraulic system clean on page 44 .
3. Turn the hydraulic oil filter counterclockwise to
remove it.
4. Fill the new hydraulic oil filter with oil. Refer to
Technical data on page 84 .
5. Lubricate the seal of the new hydraulic oil filter with
engine oil.
6. Attach the hydraulic oil filter. Tighten by hand until
there is resistence, then tighten ¾ turn more.

7. Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to
page 84 .
8. Operate the equipment lift and the power steering.
9. Do a check that there are no leaks around the
hydraulic oil filter.
10. Do a check of the oil level in the hydraulic tank. Fill
with hydraulic oil if it is necessary. Refer to
check of the oil level in the hydraulic system on page
46 .
9.5.12 To disassemble the holder for the
hydraulic oil filter
Note: If the holder for the hydraulic oil filter is replaced,
the adapters must be removed and used again during
assembly.
1. Remove the hydraulic oil tank. Refer to
To remove
the hydraulic oil tank on page 50 .
2. Remove the hydraulic hoses and put protection caps
To keep
on the hoses and connections.
3. Make marks on the hoses to make it easier to attach
them correctly.
4. Remove the 2 screws that hold the holder for the
hydraulic oil filter and remove the holder for the
hydraulic oil filter.
5. Clean the holder for the hydraulic oil filter. Refer to
To keep the hydraulic system clean on page 44 .
6. Assemble in opposite sequence.
