9.1.3.2 To replace the parking brake cable
1. Remove the frame tunnel cover. Refer to
the covers on page 23 .
2. Remove the rubber cover from the parking brake
cable.
3. Remove the snap ring.
4. Pull back the rubber protection until the parking
brake cable goes through the bracket opening.
5. Loosen the recoil spring from the arm of the parking
brake pedal.
6. Make a note of how the parking brake cable is
installed.
7. Remove the left footrest plate. Refer to
the covers on page 23 .

8. Pull back the rubber protection until the parking
brake cable can go through the bracket opening.
To remove
9. Loosen the recoil spring going to the brake arm.
10. Remove the parking brake cable from the arm of the
parking brake pedal.
11. Assemble in opposite sequence.
12. Do a check of the parking brake cable and adjust if it
is necessary.
9.1.3.3 To adjust the brake cable
1. Put the product in a level position.
2. Make sure that the parking brake is not applied.
3. Loosen the locknuts (A).
To remove
4. Adjust the play between the casing and the
adjustment screw to 1 mm when you pull the casing.
This gives a play on the pedal of approximately 40
mm.
