16. Remove the 2 screws that hold the bracket for the
pump belt pulley.
17. Remove the screw (B) on the locking plate (C) that
holds the front part of the link stay (A).
18. Remove the screw (D) from the link stay and the
front link stay bracket.
19. Remove the link stay.
20. Assemble in opposite sequence. Refer to
fasteners on page 19 .
21. Lubricate the link stay through the grease nipples.
9.1.5.3 To do a check of the joint bearing in the
articulated steering
1. Measure the distance between the link stay and the
screw head on the engine belt pulley.
Note: Make sure that there is a clear distance
between the link stay and the screw head on the
engine belt pulley.
2. Replace the joint bearing if the distance between the
link stay and the screw head on the engine belt
pulley decreases.

9.1.5.4 To disassemble the joint bearing in the
articulated steering
1. Put a jack assembly below the product. The
illustration shows where to put the supports.
2. Put a container below the transmission to collect oil
spill.
3. Clean the hydraulic couplings. Refer to
hydraulic system clean on page 44 .
4. Make marks on the hoses to make it easier to attach
them correctly. Refer to
44 .
5. Loosen the hydraulic hoses and attach protective
caps to the hose ends.
6. Attach the control stay to the drive shaft with a cable
tie. This protects the control stay from damage when
the rear axle is loosened.
7. Loosen the front end of the control stay (A). Remove
the nut (B), screw (C) and washer (D).
