5.52 Control mode of actuator
• Both 2- and 3-position actuators can be controlled
• Use of diverting and mixing valves
The setting permits the use of 2- and 3-position actuators.
Setting range
0...1
The settings have the following meaning:
0
2-position actuator
The signal is used to control a diverting valve.
The diverting valve can only be fully opened or fully closed.
Intermediate positions are not possible.
In addition to this setting, the actuator's switching differential for the 2-position
controller is to be entered on operating line 706
1
3-position actuator
The signal is used to control a mixing valve.
The mixing valve can assume any position between the 2 end positions.
5.53 Switching differential of actuator
• The switching differential of a 2-position mixing valve can be set adjusted. This
enables the controller to be optimally adjusted to the type of actuator used.
Setting range
0...20
Entry:
Increase:
Switching differential will become greater
The valve will open less often, but for longer periods of time.
Greater temperature variations in the heating circuit.
Decrease:
Switching differential will become smaller
The valve will open more often, but for shorter periods of time.
Smaller temperature variations in the heating circuit.
