The switching differential defines the minimum temperature differential
storage tank and collector sensor (B6 or B61) from which storage tank charging via the
respective heat exchanger is released.
When this temperature differential is reached, a valve – if present – is brought into the
position required for storage tank charging and the necessary pump(s) is (are) acti-
vated.
The type of storage tank sensor used for generating the temperature differentials is de-
pendent on the selected basic diagram. The assignment of the sensors to the heat ex-
changers is described on page 143.
